Dear children,
That’s great that you want to do a bit of “yoga,” “drink a bit of wine” and hang out with “muslims and/or communists and/or people” who would be “left behind.” The Bible tells us that in the last days there will be those who are “lovers of themselves” and a consolidation and merging of nations and religions into a one world system under the rule of Satan. So your wanting to merge the practice of eastern religion (yoga) with Christianity may seem “liberating” to you, but it comes as no surprise to God. As for hanging out with “communists,” please remember that they persecuted, imprisoned, and murdered millions of the brethren in the last century. And have yet to make an apology for all of the blood. I would encourage reading some of Richard Wurmbrand.
That’s great that you believe in the message of the cross, more than the symbol of the cross. I like to think that every house of God, every church building, and every cross, serves as a reminder to the lost that He is always doing a work, the living amongst the dead, an oasis in the desert.
I agree, God’s love is for all humanity, not only Israel and America. But I would pull my Bible out and do a little reading on God’s relationship with Israel. They are the apple of God’s eye – to this day. Israel has special standing with God. For some reference on how God deals with Israel’s enemies – See: Ezekiel chapter 29.
As for “properly” being pro-life, meaning “EVERY” life, I would look to the Bible and find what is “proper” to God. “Pro-Life” would “properly” start with the most innocent, the unborn or just born, and if you can’t defend that, we really have nowhere else to go with this discussion. Please note: if they will kill babies, they will kill anybody.
As a Christian my heart goes out to the immigrants seeking asylum. But the communists you hang out with, want open borders so they can merge all of the nations into a one world government. They are encouraging it. As Christians we are to love and we are to have discernment. 2 Cor 2:11 “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
The man on death row. I know it bothers you, but the God of the Old Testament punished many sins by death. God is just. The law is harsh. The God of the Old Testament has not changed. He is still the same God today. He still views sin in the same way. God deals with sin harshly. God is just. This is important. I need you to understand this. When Christ shed His blood and died on the cross of Calvary, He took the harsh punishment of the law in your place. We are justified through His blood. Salvation is being saved from God’s wrath. God loved us by taking His wrath for us. If you view the death penalty as somehow being “unjust,” then I don’t think you fully appreciate what Christ has done for you.
You will sing “more pro-love than anti-sin.” Jesus definition of “love” is rebuke and chastening. Revelation 3:19 ” As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten, be zealous therefore and repent.” God makes it clear throughout the Bible that pro-love IS anti-sin.
You will “deny patriarchy.” Then you are denying God. The patriarchal structure is God’s structure. God the Father, God the son, the father as the head of the household, is patriarchy. It is ordained of God.
In Feuerbach thesis #4, Karl Marx said “Once the earthly family is discovered to be the secret of the holy family, the former must itself be annihilated through theory and practice.” In other words, the traditional family that rebukes and chastens their children is God’s secret, they are working out God’s system of righteousness. Marx said, once you discover this, destroy the family. That is what you are doing – destroying the patriarchy. You see Marx understood that if you can destroy the structure that God speaks to us in, you can overthrow God. So it’s the children overthrowing the father. Ye shall be as gods. Man lifting himself up as God. Good luck with that. The Lord wins in the end.
I am glad that you believe that Jesus is what God has to say. His gospel of peace, His good news for the poor, His healing of the broken-hearted are all part of that. Jesus came to save that which is lost. Jesus died on the cross to save us from sin.
It’s good that you care about the future of our planet. The Bible says that He is going to burn the whole thing up in a fireball in the end.
“We’re intentional about spending time with people from other cultures / religions / races, we’re intentional about standing with them too.” Again, the consolidation and merging of nations and religions into a one world system is coming. Along with the mark of the beast. At some point you are going to be asked to either stand with the world or stand with God.
“The old systems that keep our friends in bondage are not cool with us anymore.” That’s the problem with hanging around your communist friends. To them, this is nothing new, and I quote:
“We reject the old systems of morality and ‘humanity’ invented by the bourgeoisie to oppress and exploit the ‘lower classes.’ … To us everything is permitted, for we are the first to raise the sword not to oppress races and reduce them to slavery, but to liberate humanity from it’s shackles… Blood? Let blood flow like water. … For only through the death of the old world can we liberate ourselves forever..”

You see the minute you believe that the “old systems” of “morality” and “humanity” are inventions of men to “oppress” and “exploit” the “lower classes,” then “everything” is “permitted.” It’s easy to become a Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot and slaughter millions of people. Visit again: 2 Cor 2:11.
“And FYI, we’re done with abusive pastors and chauvinistic leadership.” FINALLY, something we can agree upon. There are a lot of Popes out there who have not helped the cause of Christ. It’s no excuse, but I would think that even putting up with those, would be preferable to an eternity without God.
“The whole turn the other cheek and love your enemies bit has really captivated our hearts! And it’s affected how we look at war and Islam and North Korea.”
That’s good. The Bible says that everyone will be saying “peace and safety,” when the end comes.
“Please don’t quit on us!”
I won’t. Christ did not give up on me. I will pray until the Lord takes me home.
“We need your mothering and fathering.”
There seems to be a conflict between this and your denying the patriarchy. Pick one and stick with it.
