Put on Suspension

A few days after FB rejected my request to boost the post containing the discussion guide, FB tyrants put my account on restriction. Here is the notice, dated November 27.

My posts are being “moved lower in News Feed for at least 90 days.” News to me! I thought I was in the lowest category already! Why was FB doing this? Because, in their judgment, I repeatedly had posted false information.

Look carefully at the above list. Seven items are listed, but the items bearing the dates October 4, November 22, and November 24 aren’t identified by anything other than dates.

Here are the other posts that contain information deemed to be “false.”

October 15:

Here is the text of the post:

The NEWS says the California port situation is caused by a driver shortage.

Not so fast: It is in part caused by a California Truck Ban which says all trucks must be 2011 or newer and a law called AB 5 which prohibits Owner Operators.

Traditionally the ports have been served by Owner Operators (non union). California has now banned Owner Operators.

Long term, truckers in California are not investing in new trucks because California has a law that makes them illegal in 2035. The requirement is to purchase electric trucks which do not exist.

And in the words of Paul Harvey, “Now you know the rest of the story”

Here is the fact-check story that FB used to classify this post as spreading “false information.” It quotes a communications director for the California Air Resources Board. That individual said, “There is simply no evidence to support any claims that the current congestion at our ports has any connection to the state’s efforts to clean up California’s trucks.”

Despite this claim, however, it isn’t difficult to see the connection between a driver shortage and environmental regulations run amok. Truckers are not stupid; when they believe regulations make it impossible for them to make a reasonable profit, they will opt out.  Another article, one bearing the date of November 5, appears to be more objective. It states,

A coalition of more than a dozen business groups sent Newsom a letter requesting that he suspend several regulations and laws to help solve the supply chain issues. Among their proposals:

        • Suspend a variety of environmental regulations and pollution laws;
        • Suspend the state’s landmark worker status law passed in 2019 that reclassified many independent contractors as employees;
        • Suspend a new law passed this year which requires warehouses to disclose to workers any quotas or work speed standards.

It appears that FB doesn’t like any kind of dissent regarding leftist environmental policies. So it gags participants on one side of the debate — the conservative side. We can be good stewards of the environment without sacrificing common sense economic policies and basic freedoms, but we must be allowed to debate the issues at hand!

November 1:

Here is a report from the fact-checkers. Even if the fact-checkers are right with regard to this detail, it remains true that the main point of the post is that the Danes resisted Hitler, and their efforts made a profound difference — and that is historically true.

November 5:

As you can see, the information about the slogan on the bottom of IN-N-OUT cups was from the Joe Padula show. Here is the fact-checkers’ report. Was this false information? I admit that it was. However, we also must emphasize that consistently, FB seems to get bent out of shape over items that push, or push back, against leftist causes. Causes like — gasp! — socialism! And causes like Biden’s agenda.

Moreover, FB also has been ready to push push against, and to censor, any evidence that would exonerate, or lean in the direction of exonerating, Kyle Rittenhouse. The next item they nailed me on related to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

November 27:

November 21 at 5:54 AM

I have watched the whole Rittenhouse Trial.

I didn’t know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.

I didn’t know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.

I didn’t know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.

I didn’t know that Joseph Rosenbaum knocked him down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.

I didn’t know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard. didn’t know Gaige Grosskreutz, a felon in possession of firearm, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.

I also didn’t know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).

I didn’t know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn’t supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.

I also didn’t realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater.

I didn’t know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also. IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB.. EVERYONE would have known this!” –

Here is what the nitpickers at FB found to complain about in this post.

Here is the information provided by Politi-fact. If anyone reading this can figure out what the information provided by the fact-checkers has to do with the information I posted, please let me know. FB tells me, “Rittenhouse wasn’t attacked at grandparents’ gas station before Kenosha shooting.” OK. Show me where I posted that he was.

Even if someone at FB can make the case that my post gets a detail wrong here or there about the Rittenhouse trial, it speaks volumes that they’ve selected this item to single out as “false information.” It reminds me of a meme I have seen that hits a bull’s eye. It was similar to this.
