The wrath of God is like great waters that are dammed for the present; they increase more and more, and rise higher and higher, till an outlet is given; and the longer the stream is stopped, the more rapid and mighty is its course, when it is once let loose. It is true, that judgment against your evil works has not been executed before; the floods of God’s vengeance have been withheld; but your guilt in the meantime is constantly increasing, and you are every day storing up more wrath; the waters are constantly rising, and growing more and more mighty; and there is nothing but the mere pleasure of God that holds the waters back, that are unwilling to be stopped, and press hard to go forward. If God should only withdraw His hand from the floodgate, it would immediately fly open, and the fiery floods of the fierceness and wrath of God would rush forth with inconceivable fury, and would come upon you with omnipotent power; and if your strength were ten thousand times greater than it is, yes, ten thousand times greater than the strength of the stoutest, sturdiest devil in hell, it would never be able to withstand or endure it.
—Jonathan Edwards, in his 1741 sermon “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God“
Key points: People may turn blind eyes to corruption, but God never will. He will bring the truth, however ugly, to light. As painful as such revelations can be for a nation, healing will not take place until they occur. We must pray that the truth will prevail and that many will understand and believe it.
I shared last time that a series of articles titled “The High Cost of Denying the Obvious” was the first series I published at Word Foundations. Citing the folly of the belief that an individual is the sex he or she imagines rather than the one determined biologically, I quoted from “A Dead End,” the first article in the series. This in no way discounts the need for compassion for those who believe in transgenderism, but we must remember that true compassion never ignores truth. The truth is that the transgender ideology, despite its popularity, leads to a dead end.
The High Cost of Denying the Obvious
In this article I want summarize contents of the second article, “God Speaks Clearly Through Nature.” Before doing that, however, I want to establish a truth that has been crystal clear to many since the November 3, 2020 election. Some still are skeptical, but the evidence still is overwhelming. The presidential election was stolen. Many down ballot races may have been stolen as well, although the hatred for Donald Trump among his ardent opponents has been so strong, and the desire to get rid of him so intense, the focus for those who orchestrated the steal primarily was on the race for president.
The 2020 presidential election was stolen.
But where is the evidence? many ask. It continues to mount. The media have convinced many that no such evidence exists. These are the same individuals and institutions who said Biden was leading Trump nationally by 17 points in mid-October. Had this been the case, it is difficult to imagine a contest that in the final analysis would be disputed. This is but one example of the media’s gaslighting the American people to promote the Democrats and to push their agenda. Repeatedly, Americans have been lied to and manipulated by being told that up is down, black is white, good is evil, and evil is good. The concept of gaslighting comes from the 1940 and 1944 motion pictures titled Gaslight. Here is the trailer for the 1944 movie.
As I have indicated, evidence of a rigged election abounds, despite what the media say. This video was published on Rumble, a video posting site, on February 9, 2021.
Human Accountability to God Is Self-Evident
Now, let’s move on to consider the contents of the second post in “The High Cost of Denying the Obvious.” What principles or truths does this article affirm? The following statements are quoted directly from the article. Relying on observations from the natural world, we can conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that
-
-
- First, God exists. There really is a supreme, omnipotent being who is responsible for the world and everything in it.
- Second, God is a God of precision and order. Nature is not chaotic but meaningful. It also is balanced; and, in the many instances in which it needs to be precise to sustain life, it is just that.
- Third, God made human beings distinctive and special. Humanity is clearly superior to plant and animal life.
- Fourth, God gives man the resources to live and to improve his conditions, but He does not do everything for him.
-
I quote from the fifth point a bit more extensively.
-
-
- Fifth, this implies that every person is accountable to God. Humanity’s sense of morality or right and wrong also says people are accountable to Him [and Scripture affirms this as well] (see Rom. 2:12-16). So does death (see Heb. 9:27).
-
Once Daniel Webster [1782-1852] was asked what the most profound thought was that ever had crossed his mind. Webster replied, “My accountability to God.” Thomas Jefferson [1743-1826] demonstrated similar wisdom when he said, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever.” These words are inscribed on the wall of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC.
God’s eternality and wisdom are but two additional divine attributes to which creation testifies. The truth is that we can learn a great deal about God just from the natural world, if we only will be observant and open. Furthermore, it is critical that we be receptive to everything creation teaches us. Why? Because the price for ignoring these lessons is heavy indeed. This issue has eternal implications.
The primary focus of this article (the one you’re reading) is that those who orchestrated and stole the 2020 presidential election are treading on very thin ice. A duck might get away with walking on thin ice, but a man or a woman will not. All people are accountable to God for their actions, and God will hold them accountable. He will not let wrongdoers get away with violating His laws. Ultimately, they will pay a high price for their greedy and arrogant actions. Just watch!
What We Have Seen Over the Past Few Months, What these Observations Mean For the Country, and the Ominous Implications for Those Who Orchestrated These Events
What we have seen (here, here, here, and here):
-
-
- The 2020 presidential election was stolen.
- It was stolen in broad daylight in the sense that the theft was obvious to everyone seeing the evidence, paying close attention, and willing to reach reasonable conclusions despite the prevailing and pervasive leftist narrative.
- The thieves have bragged about their heist openly.
- The unwillingness of the supposed victor and of those who believe Biden was the victor to investigate claims of fraud with audits and hand recounts is telling. If Joe Biden won legitimately, wouldn’t he and his advocates want to resolve lingering doubts?
- The mainstream media have denied that evidence for the theft exists and have ridiculed those who have sought to point it out.
- The courts and the judges that preside over them (remember, these judges and justices have a professional and constitutional duty to uphold the rule of law) have, generally speaking, turned a blind eyes to the evidence, refusing to even consider it. They have dismissed case after case on procedural grounds.
- State legislators in swing states also ignored the evidence.
- Congress ignored it as well. Representatives and Senators moved with abandon to certify an election that at least should have been thoroughly investigated. Doesn’t accuracy and truth matter anymore?
- Thus, the media, the courts, state legislators, and Congress are complicit in the fraud.
-
Americans must understand the implications for the country if this scenario remains unchanged and divine justice comes later rather than earlier. Rigged elections produce predictable and orchestrated results. If the Democrats get away with stealing this election, then nothing else, including future elections, will matter. They will continue to steal elections, breaking the law and defying the Constitution. And they will continue to get away with it. Further, they will get better and better at hiding their theft. Doesn’t the fact that both Democrats won the two senate runoffs in Georgia indicate this? (Go here, here, and here for starters.)
Let me illustrate my point further by responding to Tony Perkins’s column, “Impeachment: No End. Incite” from February 9, 2021. Perkins observed that the impeachment trial in the Senate, a trial that, significantly, focuses on a former rather than a sitting president, is at best a waste of time and taxpayer money. Perkins stated,
With 44 Republicans on the record and no chance of conviction in sight, this can only be about one thing, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) insisted: political theater. “This is an unconstitutional impeachment,” she argued on “Washington Watch.”…
“You cannot [work on] legislation during impeachment,” Blackburn pointed out.…
“There isn’t a single American that’s going to get a vaccine because of this impeachment trial,” Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) argued. “There isn’t a single American that’s going to find a job because of this impeachment trial. There isn’t a single thing that’s going to happen to make us safer from the threat of China from this impeachment trial. And these are the things I wish we were focused on… getting the economy growing again and getting people back to work, and focused on confronting the challenges before our country. We should be spending every second we’re up here working on those things — not on a trial to impeach a president who’s no longer in office.”
Then Perkins wrote,
Good luck persuading Democrats. They won the White House, they won Congress — but they’re losing their grip on what matters. And the country they promised to heal will notice.
Yes, the Democrats are losing their grip on what matters, and yes, the country they promised to heal will notice. But the Democrats have absolutely nothing to lose if they can continue to rig elections — and they most assuredly can and will continue to rig them unless and until election thieves are made to pay for their criminal actions.
Tony Perkins is right in saying that Democrats are losing their grip on what matters and that the country they promised to heal will notice. But don’t let these realities fool you. The Democrats have absolutely nothing to lose if they can continue to rig elections — and they most assuredly can and will continue to rig them unless and until election thieves are made to pay for their criminal actions.
The implications for those orchestrating and “pulling off’ the theft:
-
-
- God sees and knows all. Proverbs 15:3 declares, “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.” In Jeremiah 17:10 the inspired prophet conveyed this divine declaration. Bank on it. “I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.”
- Election thieves and their accomplices will not get away with their corrupt actions. God will hold them accountable. How and when God will bring justice is not known, but it is absolutely certain that divine justice will prevail.

Qualifiers
In a few moments I will make the strong case from Scripture that the individuals responsible for stealing the election, as well as those who are knowingly promoting the lie that Biden actually won, should be quaking in their boots; but first I must issue some qualifiers. Here goes.
-
-
- Scripture is clear that everyone is a sinner, not just those whom we might accurately describe as “evildoers.” Thus, all of us who have not found God’s mercy and grace through repentance of their sins and through faith in Christ are “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” (see the opening quote at the top). Everyone deserves hell; and grace, by definition, is underserved. Even so, the Bible makes a clear distinction between the righteous and the wicked. God will hold the unrepentant accountable for their wrong actions.
- God may be judging America by giving her leaders who apparently have no regard for God or the things of God. Such leaders include Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer. John Calvin is reported to have said, “When God wants to judge a nation, He gives them wicked rulers.” In fact, on more than one occasion he did say something similar. Without question, America deserves God’s judgment, and if God chooses to pour out his wrath on this nation through these ungodly leaders, He is fully justified in doing so.
- All this readily acknowledged, I still am quick to plead with the Lord in my prayers that Joe Biden is not the leader the people chose in 2020.
- These three qualifiers notwithstanding, Democrats who have actively worked to steal the election and to certify it, despite its fraudulent results, are treading on thin ice!
- Additional qualifier: Lest anyone think that I am saying corruption is exclusive to Democrats, I am not. Consider Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp, who “Awarded [a] $107 Million Contract to Dominion Two Weeks After Meeting With People’s Republic of China Consul General.” This doesn’t pass muster. At minimum, actions such as these should be fully investigated.

Peril Awaits the Proud and Unrepentant
Keeping the insights we’ve considered in mind, I invite you to read and study carefully these 25 passages of Scripture. They offer no good news for those who habitually lie, steal, and remain proud. You may notice that all of these come from the Old Testament. Keep in mind that while the New Covenant superseded God’s ceremonial law, His moral law remains intact. Go here for a complete listing of these portions of Scripture, as well as a posting of the passages themselves.
Let’s consider just one of the 25 passages we’ve cited: Psalm 68:1-2. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, David declared,
Let God arise,
Let His enemies be scattered;
Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.
As smoke is driven away,
So drive them away;
As wax melts before the fire,
So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
Do not be misled. Ultimately, no one committing election fraud will get away with it. God will hold the guilty accountable.
While it is appropriate to pray that those who are guilty will repent, it also is appropriate to pray that for the sake of righteousness in the nation, corruption, lies, and dirty deals will come to light.
I’m asking God for both of these. Will you join me?
