The Federal Government Is Pushing Transgenderism and Intends to Punish Anyone Who Dares to Hold a Different Perspective

In this post, we’ll talk about what you can do.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!
Isaiah 5:20-21

Our job is not primarily to avoid offending them; it is to present the truth to them as clearly and as effectively as we can. Sometimes our message will be a forceful one, such as — You cannot have our children! They are not yours to indoctrinate! They do not belong to you, and we will protect them from your harmful ideas. Whether or not we win the radicals by doing this, it is critical that we do it to keep from losing our own children and their peers — members of the next generation.

Key point: America is in peril. Now is the time for concerned Americans — especially Christians — to speak out. This post encourages readers to take important actions immediately with regard to two very important matters now under consideration in government.

The Biden administration is putting this nation in deep peril. Although I believe this to be true on multiple fronts, today I want to hone in on one. On this front, heated battles over two related issues are being waged:

      1. marriage and
      2. sexuality and gender identity.

These battles call for every Christian to be involved and to stand with clarity, contending for bedrock truth.

Marriage

In his September newsletter to friends and supporters of the James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI), Dr. Dobson asks, “What Is Happening to America? Can We Stop It?” This nation stands on the the brink of disaster with regard to marriage because of unrelenting attacks from the left on this sacred and God-ordained institution, and because of weak responses from the right. In its ruling in Obergefell in 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States redefined marriage include same-sex couples — and now Congress appears anxious to enshrine the Supreme Court’s redefinition of marriage into federal law. Dr. Dobson writes,

In 1996, the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) reiterated that marriage consisted of one man and one woman. The bipartisan legislation was passed overwhelmingly by both the House and the Senate. Congress was echoing the will of the American people. Thirty-one states, conservative and liberal, had already voted to reaffirm that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Fast forward to today. Recently, all 220 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives along with 47 Republicans voted to repeal DOMA in support of codifying same-sex marriage into federal law (H.R. 8404).

Even as I write this, it is uncertain as to whether or not enough Republican senators will stand against the Left’s radical LGBTQ agenda to thwart the Senate’s version of this perverted bill.

Lightstock

The US Senate will vote very soon — perhaps in the next few days — on a legislative redefinition of marriage that aligns with the Obergefell ruling. Have you contacted your US Senators to urge them to oppose this bill at every turn, imploring them to oppose both the bill and ending debate (invoking cloture)? If 60 senators vote to invoke cloture (end debate) on the bill, it is near certain the bill will pass when a direct vote on the proposed legislation is taken. Please contact your senators now.

Sexuality and Gender Identity

Gary Bauer

Gary Bauer, the Senior Vice-President of Public Policy at the James Dobson Family Institute, has concisely summarized the peril the Biden administration is foisting on this nation in the area of sexuality and gender identity. Dr. Dobson quoted Bauer in the same newsletter we’ve already cited. According to Bauer,

President Biden ordered federal agencies to expand LGBTQ rights. His Department of Education then announced that Title IX, which was passed to protect women, will now be enforced to protect “gender identity” as well.

Under this radical new approach, boys who claim to be girls must be allowed to use girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, as well as compete in girls’ sports. A law designed to protect real girls and women will now be used to protect fake girls and women. Moreover, children who insist they are transgender can demand to be addressed by pronouns that do not match their biological sex.

The Department of Education just published new regulations attempting to put radical gender ideology into girls’ educational and sports programs. Thankfully, on July 15th, a federal district judge temporarily blocked the new regulations in a number of states.

What You Can Do

In a recently-released “Give Him Fifteen” video presentation, Rev. Dutch Sheets explains not only the threat but also gives clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how you can let your voice be heard. This presentation, along with the written text of what Rev. Sheets says, is available on this page. The video itself is offered below.

Please take time to watch and listen to Rev. Sheets — then visit this website (https://childparentrights.org/title-IX/) and follow his instructions to take action.

It’s important to understand the urgency of this matter. As Gary Bauer has indicated and as the portal for submitting comments affirms, we have only until 11:59 pm EDT on Monday, September 12, to express our concerns and objections.

My Arguments Against the Proposed Changes

I expressed my general concerns by directly entering them into the portal, but I also included a PDF file of a letter wherein I detailed numerous specific objections. Here are several summary statements conveying points I made.

RE: Docket ID: ED-2021-OCR-0166 – Public Comment

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am a father of two students in schools in my state. I am writing to express my deep concerns about, and my strong objections to, the proposed changes to the Title IX Regulations. These changes would have a very harmful impact on my parental rights and our children’s rights and well-being. These changes must be rejected!

I am concerned that…

      1. The proposed regulations would put young women at risk of harm, both psychologically and physically, because they would require schools to allow biological males who identify as females to use private restroom and change facilities designated for biological females only. What about dorms in colleges and universities? I assume the regulations also would force schools (in many cases over their strong objections) to allow males who identify as females to be housed in female-only housing. This is a violation of privacy rights and puts women at risk of harm, injury, sexual abuse, and sexual assault.
      2. The proposed regulations in a great many cases violate the investment intentions of parents who are sacrificing to send their sons and daughters to private, church-affiliated schools. Though private, because these institutions receive federal money, they would be required to follow the new Title IX rules. Without question, many students are attending private, church-affiliated schools because they wish to be in a learning environment that affirms rather than repudiates their core beliefs. These beliefs include convictions about biological sex and sexuality. Parents are spending multiplied thousands of dollars to avoid educational environments where their own and their children’s core convictions are rejected and ridiculed. These students want to be educated in insitutiitions that accept their convictions as givens, even as they concentrate on teaching them the academic subjects they came to study. The proposed changes in Title IX regulations trample on the intentions of parents’ sacrifices and investments. They violate parents’ and students’ rights in the worst sort of ways. The federal government has no right to force beliefs of any kind on schools, parents, or students.
      3. The proposed regulations would infringe on religious liberties by enforcing a perspective on gender and biological sex that countless parents, students, families, and schools simply reject. The Declaration of Independence speaks of equality based on having been created by God. It is self-evident that God created two sexes — male and female. This is not simply an opinion; it is reality, and it is a part of many people’s religious convictions. The individual who is born a male is and will be a boy or a man as long as he lives; and the individual born a female is and will be a girl or a woman as long as she lives. Biological sex is not fluid. It is not malleable. The federal government is wrong to insist that any entity — whether an individual, a group, or an institution — cannot hold these convictions.
      4. The proposed regulations would violate Freedom of Speech rights by putting countless students in a position where the school must focus on and promote an ideology that neither it nor they accept, one that stands totally contrary to their religious beliefs and that is totally unnecessary for a balanced and complete education.
      5. Apparently contrary to the federal government’s wishes, a countless number of young people still believe that only two sexes exist — male and female. However, if these regulations are implemented, these young people will have reason to live in fear of offending someone by merely stating their convictions. The offended party would essentially have a club to use against these young men and women, even though free speech — not the right not to be offended — is guaranteed in the US Constitution.
      6. I also object to the proposed changes based on how they will affect communities at large, and especially the young people who are a part of them. These regulations amount to coercion on the part of the federal government. They are telling local schools and school districts that they must comply with policies that violate the privacy rights of both boys and girls (because what I wrote of males who identify as females also is true of females who identify as males), or the money for federal school food programs will be withheld. While some may be able to get their children out of the public schools (and this is just the sort of thing that will compel parents to take this action en masse), it is undeniably true that poor families who have fewer resources at their disposal to remove their children from public schools will be stuck. They will be at the mercy of a coercive federal government.
      7. The proposed regulations would obliterate women’s sports, since (as I have indicated) they would require schools to open women’s competition to males who identify as females. This is the exact opposite of what Title IX was created to do; it was implemented to protect women and their opportunities, not violate them!
      8. Perhaps must tragic of all, the regulations will indoctrinate otherwise healthy children and teens into believing that they have been born into the wrong bodies and that they need medical and even surgical correction for this “mistake.” Opportunities to take puberty blockers and to have surgeries will violate their rights to make fully informed decisions (which they cannot make as teenagers, as minors), and violate young people’s parents’ right to guide their children in the ways they believe to be best. Here is the bottom line: Children do not belong to the state, but to parents! To take children and to teach them unproven ideas about gender identity and sexuality and to send them on a path that many later have come to regret (see https://sexchangeregret.com) will certainly drive a wedge between parents and children. Is this the real goal of the proposed changes? One is compelled to wonder.

My above list emphasizes how the proposed Title IX regulations would be harmful to

      • parental rights,
      • religious liberties,
      • children’s well-being,
      • the Frist Amendment rights of parents and students, and
      • young people’s (especially women’s) privacy and safety.

I’ve also shown how these regulations will be extremely harmful to countless individuals in the community at large. If adopted, probably millions of families would have to consider removing their children from the affected schools — all because the federal government would be violating Americans’ unalienable rights to live and believe as they choose.

I could put it another way. From a broader perspective, these regulations actually put public schools at risk. Money is allocated to schools each year on a per-student basis, based on the number of children enrolled in school. I ask you to calculate and take into consideration the economic impact that would be caused by concerned parents who will decide to remove their children from public schools due to these proposed regulations.

I strongly urge you to abandon completely these changes to the Title IX regulations.

With sincerity and conviction,
B. Nathaniel Sullivan

I would gladly sign any Demands, Actions/Motions/Charges, not petitions.
Demands are for Sovereigns/We the People, petitions are for SERVANTS/slaves/serfs/the elected.
I see Insubordination by Public SERVANTS of their job duties and limitations, Dereliction of DUTY, Breach of Oath Contracts and Bonds against our Foundational Documents and Laws under Original Intent, premeditated failure to comply, Usurpation, Sedition, Treason, Insurrection, war crimes, etc.

Just to clarify, the appeal to comment on the proposed regulations is not a petition, but it is our opportunity to object to these policies for the reasons you site as well as the reasons I highlighted in the article. If we don’t object in large enough numbers and thereby prevent the implementation of these policies now, it will be all the more difficult to dodge them or live under them. For example, it is reasonable to assume at least that Christian institutions of higher learning would close their doors rather than submit to these godless and evil regulations. Then who loses? Let us take advantage now of our opportunity to object, before these regulations are implemented. If indeed they are implemented, then we can cross that bridge when we get to it.

Transgenderism is outright Fraud, False Advertising, Deception, Deceit, Lying, etc.
Forcing it down other people throats is Despotic Tyranny, Strongarming, Extortion, Embezzlement of taxpayer and government funds, Harassment, High Crimes and Misdemeanors, and other crimes.

    • B. Nathaniel Sullivan B. Nathaniel Sullivan

Without question, transgenderism is an attempt to deny reality, and in this sense it is an absolute lie. And yes, forcing it down citizen’s throats is tyranny of the worst sort. We must do everything we can to hold our leaders attempting to push this agenda accountable. Thanks for your comments — B. Nathaniel Sullivan
